Corrections, disputes and removals

Hartford Personal Injury Attorney Guide is an independent directory of personal injury attorney practices in Hartford. Our listings come from publicly available business information, and your score is calculated by a single, fixed algorithm applied to all Google reviews of your practice. Being listed here is free, and no payment we receive can change your score or ranking. This page explains how corrections, disputes, and removals work. The complete rubric is public: scoring method.

Correcting your facts

If your name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or service description are wrong on your listing, we can fix them. Send us the correct information along with proof from a source we can verify, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we apply a correction, it stays in place through all future updates to the directory.

Disputing your score

Your score comes directly from Google reviews run through our published rubric. We do not hand-edit scores. A dispute means you believe the input data is wrong: perhaps your listing is matched to the wrong business, or reviews are attributed to you incorrectly, or our summary of what reviewers wrote does not match what they said. File a dispute and we will re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number.

Requesting removal

We remove listings when a business has permanently closed, when we have listed a duplicate, or when the business falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification also catches closed businesses and removes them automatically. If your practice is active and in scope, your accurate listing will remain, and we will tell you plainly why a removal request is declined.
